e mountainbike mondraker Mondraker Neat R, 2025 / Medium / Obsidian grey / goldThe Mondraker Neat R is the Spanish brand's first light e MTB, and it's built around a specific proposition: what does electric assist look like when the motor is engineered to disappear into the ride? The Mondraker Neat R is the Spanish brand's first light e-MTB, and it's built around a specific proposition: what does electric assist look like when the motor is engineered to disappear into the ride? The answer is the TQ HPR-50 — a mid-drive system that uses a Harmonic Pin-Ring mechanism in place of conventional belts or cogs, producing 50Nm of torque and 300W of peak power from a unit compact and light enough that Mondraker could build a frame around it that rides like a proper mountain bike. Three assist modes (Eco, Mid, High) are individually adjustable via the TQ smartphone app, walk assist is included, and the system runs nearly silent in operation. At $10,499, the Neat R is the entry point to the Neat line — and entry point here means starting with a full enduro specification and working up from there.

The frame is Mondraker's Stealth Air full carbon construction at 2,300 grams, built around the updated Zero Suspension System. Positioning the rear shock lower in the frame creates a more compact swingarm that is simultaneously lighter, stiffer, and more sensitive to small-bump input than the previous generation design. The one-piece Monoblock upper suspension link reinforces that structural precision. Rear wheel travel is 150mm, with kinematics shaped around Mondraker's Forward Geometry — the brand's signature approach that runs a long reach, a 76.5° effective seat tube angle, and 450mm chainstays to keep you over the bottom bracket in technical terrain. The 64.5° head angle puts this bike squarely in enduro territory. The 360Wh battery is fully integrated inside the frame, completely removable for charging, and compatible with an optional 160Wh external pack when the terrain demands it. The TQ HPR Display V01 — a 2-inch screen mounted on the top tube — keeps battery level and assist mode visible without interrupting the clean visual line of the build.

The suspension package runs RockShox throughout: a LYRIK Select Charger RC at 160mm of travel up front (44mm offset, 15x110mm Boost thru-axle) and a Super Deluxe Select rear shock sized at 185x55mm. The drivetrain is SRAM GX Eagle T-Type AXS — 12-speed wireless, SRAM S1000 Eagle AXS T-Type derailleur, 10-52T cassette, and an e*thirteen Helix Core E*Spec Plus crank in 160mm with a 34T SRAM X-Sync 2 chainring. Brakes are SRAM DB8 Stealth 4-piston calipers with 200mm Centerline rotors front and rear — the stopping force a nearly 19kg electric mountain bike requires at trail speeds. Mavic E-CrossRide 29 wheels with 30mm internal width and a Boost-compatible ID360 rear hub carry Maxxis Minion DHF 29x2.5 WT 3C MaxxGrip EXO+ up front and Minion DHR II 29x2.5 WT 3C MaxxTerra EXO+ out back, both tubeless ready.

Design Benefits

  1. TQ HPR-50 Harmonic Pin-Ring motor: The TQ system's defining characteristic is what it doesn't feel like. The Harmonic Pin-Ring mechanism eliminates the conventional gear-and-belt drive of most mid-drive motors, producing a power delivery that's smoother, more natural-feeling, and nearly silent. At 50Nm and 300W, it amplifies your pedaling input — it doesn't replace it. That distinction is what separates light e-MTBs from full-power systems, and the TQ motor executes it as well as any motor currently available.
  2. Zero Suspension System: Mondraker's updated suspension kinematics lower the shock position within the rear triangle, creating a more compact swingarm that's stiffer laterally and more sensitive to small inputs than the previous design. Combined with the one-piece Monoblock upper link, the rear end tracks rough terrain more precisely without the weight penalty of a larger linkage system.
  3. Forward Geometry: Mondraker's geometry philosophy — long reach, 76.5° effective seat tube angle, 64.5° head angle, 450mm chainstays — puts the rider in a position that's aggressive and active on both climbs and descents. The steep seat angle keeps you over the pedals when the trail points up; the slack head angle and short chainstays give the bike composure and cornering precision when it points down.
  4. SRAM DB8 Stealth brakes with 200mm rotors: Four-piston calipers and 200mm rotors are the appropriate choice for a bike that weighs nearly 19kg and is designed for enduro terrain. The DB8 Stealth delivers the modulation and power margin you need when speeds are high and terrain is loose, and the symmetrical 200/200mm rotor spec front and rear means you're not making compromises on stopping distance.
  5. Maxxis Minion DHF/DHR II 29x2.5 WT with EXO+: The tire pairing is enduro-correct from the factory. Minion DHF in 3C MaxxGrip at the front gives you maximum grip in variable conditions; Minion DHR II in 3C MaxxTerra at the rear balances traction with rolling efficiency and durability. Both in 2.5" WT EXO+ are the right width and protection level for the terrain the Neat R is built for.

Final Take

The Mondraker Neat R is for riders who want enduro mountain bike capability with electric assist — not an electric bike that happens to manage rough trails. The TQ HPR-50's near-silent, natural power delivery, the Stealth Air carbon frame with Zero Suspension kinematics, and a genuine enduro build in brakes, tires, and suspension place the Neat R in territory most light e-MTBs don't reach. If the goal is a bike that rides like a fast mountain bike when the trail gets technical and feels like an unfair advantage when the trail points up, this is the one.

Not a huge fan of this
Style: Face, Size: 2 Fl Oz (Pack of 1)
The pump bottle doesn't work, which isn't great but is also not a deal breaker. You can twist off the cap and get the product out that way. I may have just gotten a defective bottle, who knows? The sunscreen itself has a really nice texture like others have said and it goes on smoothly with no cast. But it also smells strongly like incense; several very fragrant plant ingredients at play here even though it has no artificial fragrances. Rosemary, some kind of australian pepper plant, and other strong smelling ingredients. If strong smells bother you, you might not like this one. I really don't like this smell. It made my skin red and itchy too, unfortunately. Not something I can really use :( Love what the company is doing with the clean ingredients, though. Lots of pros and cons here and I'd definitely recommend trying it out even though it wasn't my cup of tea. Getting the small sample size to start with was the right move!

I Look Forward to Using it Daily
Style: Face, Size: 2 Fl Oz (Pack of 1)
I've used this for at least four years and it's my favorite daily defense sunscreen. I notice some people had reactions but I have sensitive skin and rosacea and am have no irritation from this product. But everyone is different ... It goes on with a hardly noticeable hint of white then is quickly absorbed. Almost seems to even out my pigmentation a little. For those who mentioned it's dry, I don't expect this to be a moisturizer and use it on top of a treatment from the dermatologist. It smells fresh but isn't strongly scented. I've also tried Elta MD and it's a good product but this is less expensive for more product. The pump is handy until it can't reach and it becomes necessary to take the lid off and tap the remaining product into your palm each day. There's a good week or so left when the pump comes up empty. Hope you have as good of luck as I have. Some mention oiliness and piling but that hasn't been the case, but I order from the manufacturer directly which may insure I get the freshest batch.

Quick and easy to apply, plus NO white cast on brown skin!
Style: Face, Size: 2 Fl Oz (Pack of 1), Style: Face, Size: 2 Fl Oz (Pack of 1)
Admittedly, I don't normally wear sunscreen (maybe for a rare day at the beach, but certainly not on a daily basis). However, upon getting my first tattoo, I learned that the sun is a tattoo's mortal enemy, so I did a ton of research on sunscreens to find a good brand that would be effective in preventing the premature fading of my ink (gotta protect my investment, y'know?). Many people recommend mineral sunscreen instead of chemical for tattoos, and since I'm Black / brown / African American, my main concern was choosing a product that wouldn't leave a white cast. After reading the reviews of countless products, I finally settled on trying Thrive (the SPF 30 Face Sunscreen), and after two months of using this product, I can confidently say I hit the jackpot on the first try. The consistency of this sunscreen is creamy (similar to that of a standard lotion), so it spreads very easily and is "absorbed" into/onto the skin within seconds. And the best part is, there is absolutely NO white cast -- I've attached photos of both my tattooed and non-tattooed forearms post-sunscreen application for reference. You can see that there a little shine on my tattoo (which I actually like), but otherwise no discoloration from the product. In hindsight I probably should have taken before-and-after photos for both arms, but just take my word for it: there's seriously no cast. Also, the product has a slight smell (kind of citrusy, like grapefruit), but it's not strong nor unpleasant and it doesn't linger. After being rubbed in, the product feels a little sticky as it dries, but it dries pretty quickly and then leaves the skin feeling smooth/normal. The only semi-con I have is that after applying and reapplying multiple times in a single day (like 3+ times), I've noticed some slight white flakiness (I'm thinking this is just product build-up, since the minerals in this sunscreen sit on top of your skin as opposed to being fully absorbed). However, this is not really a big deal to me, as the flakes can be wiped away, but if it were really noticeable or if I knew I would need to continue reapplying that day, I could probably just wash my arm off real quick with some soap and water, then dry and reapply to resolve the problem. As a final note, I'm not actually sure if this sunscreen is effective in providing sun protection. I don't get sunburnt, so I don't really have any way of knowing whether this product is fulfilling its intended purpose (I guess time will tell; for now I'll just keep an eye out for my ink fading). But assuming it is in fact working, I 100% recommend this product!

Amazing Pimple Patches - Actually Work!
Size: 36 Count (Pack of 1)
Effectiveness: These Mighty Patch Original hydrocolloid patches have been absolutely incredible for treating breakouts quickly and effectively without harsh chemicals or painful extraction. The patches work remarkably well overnight, drawing out impurities and reducing the size and inflammation of pimples by morning. I love how they protect blemishes from picking and touching, which prevents further irritation and scarring. The clear design makes them virtually invisible during wear, so I can use them during the day without feeling self-conscious. The patches stick securely without being painful to remove, and they genuinely speed up the healing process compared to leaving breakouts untreated. Quality: Hero Cosmetics has created an exceptional product with these hydrocolloid patches that clearly demonstrates superior manufacturing quality. The adhesive is perfectly balanced - strong enough to stay in place through sleep and daily activities but gentle enough to remove without skin irritation. The hydrocolloid material is high-grade and effectively draws out fluid and impurities without over-drying the surrounding skin. The patches maintain their integrity throughout wear and don't fall apart or lose effectiveness. The sterile packaging ensures product safety and hygiene, which is essential for treating open or inflamed skin. Value for Money: These pimple patches provide outstanding value when you consider how effectively they treat breakouts while preventing scarring and further damage from picking. The cost per patch is reasonable considering the dramatic results they deliver, often clearing blemishes faster than expensive acne treatments. The prevention of scarring alone makes these worth far more than their price, as treating acne scars is much more expensive and time-consuming than preventing them. The convenience and effectiveness make these far more cost-effective than multiple skincare products or dermatologist visits for individual breakouts. These patches have become essential in my skincare routine and consistently deliver impressive results. Highly recommend for anyone dealing with occasional or persistent breakouts who wants fast, effective treatment!

The best patches!
Size: 36 Count (Pack of 1)
These work amazingly well! I just stick one on before bed and by morning the pimple is noticeably flatter and less red. It really does what it says without any picking or irritation. They stay on all night even if I toss and turn, which I was surprised by, and they don’t feel uncomfortable at all while sleeping. I also like that they’re thin and kind of blend into the skin, so you don’t really notice them if you wear them during the day either. Super simple, effective, and way less stressful than dealing with breakouts the usual way. They fit well and the size is great, really absorbs all the yuck from a pimple. A great value for money!
